Mr. Prakash Magal is an engineer by training and a pioneer in the field of solar energy in India. He has worked in several renewable energy and engineering organisations in India. He is also the founder of Enertech, a technology company, that was involved in installing solar systems both in rural and urban areas in India in the late nineties. He was involved in the first megawatt scale solar PV installation and the first residential BIPV system in Karnataka.
