Dr. Chaitanyamoy Ganguly is an Indian nuclear scientist and a former head of the nuclear fuel cycle and materials section of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), credited with many innovations in the field of nuclear material science. He was honoured with the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest Indian civilian award by the Government of India in 2002 as a recognition for his contributions. Post his retirement, he continues to hold teaching positions in several universities in India.
